Career Experience

Over the past 16 years, I have been a teacher in public schools, learning centers, and about a year ago, I began tutoring online. I have worked with children in grades pre-K to 8th grade as well as special education students and adults.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love being able to help children have that "lightbulb" moment. As a tutor, I get to work with smaller groups of children and adapt lessons to the type of learner they are. Every child learns differently, and as a tutor, I can help children learn and grow however it is best for them. I aim to give my students the tools they need to be successful in their learning environment.

Today was Eleanor's second session with Mrs. Jennifer and she was sad when it was over. I told her she had reading tutoring today and she was excited. Mrs. Jennifer does a wonderful job of encouraging and building Eleanor's confidence.

Ms. Jenn was wonder. After the session ended my child asked if we were doing it again tomorrow. It was nice to be able to hear her confidently read sight words and books. This was a wonderful experience!!!

Jennifer is amazing!! Heaven sent literally. We both look forward to meeting with her. After last session, he kept asking when he would have another session. So today he was super motivated and he rocked it. We will be meeting with her again.

Jennifer S. Is amazing she's very patient and very encouraging while tutoring. Also motivates the student and does a good job on reassuring the student that they can do it. I always look forward to my grandsons next session. Jazz :)
