Career Experience

Hello! I have been so fortunate to work in two careers that I love! I completed my Early Childhood Education Degree and worked with young children for a few years. I then worked for several years to complete my associate degree in nursing. Working in Pediatric Nursing was the dream, I have been working in this area for almost 36 years! While gaining experience as an RN, I continued to gain a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in nursing education. I worked for 15 years as a staff, RN, team coordinator, case manager and home health nurse. The last 23 years have been spent in higher education teaching nursing. I have also travelled to Africa many times completing mission work. I continue to provide support to a local college in mentoring and look forward to my next mission trip!

I Love Tutoring Because

it feels natural and right to share my knowledge. I enjoy helping students learn and gain great satisfaction in seeing them succeed toward their career goals. As a lifelong student, I want to give back to students in the same way that I received support from mentors and tutors who helped me to reach my goals.
