Career Experience
Most of my professional career has been in higher education. I worked in international education at a variety of colleges and universities for about ten years, and in assessment at a medical school for a few years also. I spent many of those years working closely with college-aged students. For the past four or so years, I've worked as a writing tutor, assisting high school and college students with a wide variety of writing tasks and assignments.
I Love Tutoring Because
it is a joy to help others develop their own concepts and ideas, and work to communicate those effectively to an audience. Working with students to improve their written content feels important, as it may impact not just their academic careers, but their futures, generally.
