Career Experience
(Yes, I have worked at NASA for a year in my younger days. No, I was not an astronaut, and am no longer affiliated with NASA). However, I have worked as a laboratory chemist and as an instructor at the community college level for over thirty years. I have also taught high school level sciences and mathematics. This has provided me with an extensive background in math (through Precalculus) and science (Chemistry, Inorganic Chemisty, Organic Chemistry, some Biochemistry).
I Love Tutoring Because
I enjoy working with students and helping them solve problems. It is my goal to provide background information and context for my students so that they not only are able to do the work, but have an understanding of the material as well. I approach the material in a patient, non-threatening manner. I seek to make math and chemistry interesting, if not enjoyable subjects.
