Career Experience

I taught Writing 101 for two years as a graduate teaching assistant. We focused on finding student voices, crafting arguments, and learning to write to a specific audience. I also worked as a tutor. I helped students at every stage of the writing process, from those beginning their initial brainstorm to those searching for editing help in the final draft of their paper.

I Love Tutoring Because

it allows me to interact with students with varied backgrounds and interests. I get to help those students develop their skills and confidence as writers. I enjoy helping students learn to clearly shape their arguments and give the best voice to the unique thesis of each paper.
